We will first start out vegan travel in Spain by visiting one of the vegan stores in the city, specifically a vegan grocery store called Only Vegan (also known as OnlyVegan . es). With the exception of produce, they have almost everything one would need for eating and for home care. We then will venture off to a vegan salon and vegan spa called EcoVita Belleza Ecologica, which is a fully vegan and cruelty free salon. This vegan salon in Madrid offers manicures, pedicures, massages, hair services, and even make up services! We will continue our adventure over to a vegan butcher shop where they make their own mock meats from scratch called Compasion. It is also a mini vegan market where you can purchase name brands of mock meats, cheeses, ice creams, and pastas. To finish our adventure, we will venture off to two more stores. The first store is Planeta Vegano, which is another all vegan grocery store and has all of one’s food essentials and home essentials (with the exception of produce) and an all pink food market called Veggie Room, which is across an all vegan Italian restaurant called Pizzi and Dixie (did I mention Madrid is one of those vegan friendly cities, both for vegan food and for vegan shopping?).
Wondering what’s it’s like to be vegan in Madrid? Madrid is an underrated vegan city and is in my opinion one of the best vegan cities in Europe to visit. There are a ton of vegan restaurants in Madrid and this is a city where it is not “difficult” to be vegan in Spain. You can treat this video as a Spain vegan travel guide if you’d like, and don’t forget to check out the rest of the vegan in Madrid, Spain videos to help you along the way!
