Dr. Engstad graduated from St. George’s University. He later completed his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center and his fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University.

Dr. Engstad is a member of the American Medical Association, Oregon Medical Association and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.

He treats patients at The Oregon Clinic, Northwest Surgical division, who are in need of cardiac surgery, including valve sparing procedures, coronary artery surgery, minimally-invasive thoracic surgery and other cardiothoracic procedures.

Dr. Engstad is also board-certified in general surgery.
