Green Card, EAD, US Visa, I-130, i-140, I-485 and other Immigration documents will have Faster and most accurate processing time in USCIS case processing tool now.
USCIS forms changed in May 2022.
To check the current wait time of your immigration form, say for example: Processing time of Form I-130 at the Texas Service Center, you can now narrow the results, by specifying the form category. If you look at the example shown on the screen, for a lawful permanent resident sponsoring a spouse or child under 21.
The wait time is now displayed as a single number as 7.5 months. Earlier it was shown as the range between 7.5 months to 11 months. The number of months shown in the new tool represents, how long it has taken USCIS, to process 80% of cases over the previous six-month period.
Adding a new tool, that allows applicants to put in their receipt date, and immediately know whether or not they should contact USCIS with questions about their case adds more transparency to immigration process.
