The following took place at the Beyond Limits butoh camp in Calabacino, Spain (1 hour from Sevilla) which is one of Coco Villarreal’s endurance rituals. Not only were these participants tied with one knot each, but for as long as they could withstand also held a rock between the armpits and between the legs. The participants had to go on despite so many limitations and despite a very hot sun.

The 2 week butoh intensive is a collaboration between Coco and me.
