Q: Jurisdiction of the visa office in Port of Spain for permanent residence applicants
A: The Canadian visa office in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago has jurisdiction over permanent residence applicants from the following countries:
• Antigua and Barbuda,
• British Virgin Islands,
• St. Kitts and Nevis,
• St. Lucia,
• St. Vincent and the Grenadines,
• Trinidad and Tobago,
• French Guyana,
• St. Barthelémy,
• St. Eustatius,
• St. Maarten,
• St. Martin.
Economic Class applications for permanent residence have to be sent to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia first. Family Class applications should be sent to the Case Processing Center in Mississauga, Ontario first.
