The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is a program of the US Government that allows a foreign investor together with their spouse and children under the age of 21 to obtain a #GreenCard and become a permanent resident of the US in exchange of making an investment into a US business enterprise or a Regional Center. Also, the purpose of EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is to stimulate the US economy and create jobs.
Requirement! The investment must be made into a #UScommercialenterprise.
You can invest into a Regional Center Project that is approved by USCIS. This type of investments are subject to the Securities Laws of the United States and if the investment offering is made even outside of the United States to a person that is not a US resident such offerings for investments are governed by the US Securities laws.
Requirement! A second major requirement to qualify for the EB-5 Immigrant
Investor Program is the capital investment requirement.
The investor must invest a minimum of $1.8 million in a project or business in an urban area or $900,000 in a project or business in a rural area or high employment area.
The investor must be the legal owner of the funds to be invested. Capital for the purpose of the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program includes cash, cash equivalent, inventory, equipment or other tangible property. The final requirement to qualify for the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is the job creation requirement.
The EB-5 Investor must invest the required amount of capital in a new commercial enterprise or a Regional Center project that will create at least 10 full-time jobs.
