Albania is a country in South-Eastern Europe with a communist past. We spent 2 weeks in March on a roadtrip around Albania, visited 7 cities: Tirana, Durres, Vlore, Saranda, Gjirokaster, Korce, Pogradec and Kruje. In March weather in Albania was good, a lot of sunshine and no rain. Although in hotels quite often it was cold inside, the ACs did not give enough heat. The roads in Albania were mostly safe and good. With the exception of Girokaster to Pogradec part, from there the roads became more narrow and sometimes it was gravel road. But all along Albanian Riviera (seaside) the road is safe. <\/p>\n
