\nNobody is invited to come
\nand visit in the United States.
\nIf you want to visit the United States, (You’re welcome pujam)
\nYou have to file for a
\nTourist Visa and apply.
\nThere’s no invitation letters, there’s none of that. That stuff maybe
\n30 years ago existed.
\nBut any person who wants to come visit the United States
\nwhether their friend, family member, whoever, they go to the
\nU.S. Embassy, do an interview
\nand come here.
\nOfficers, They are rarely, if ever, care about invitation letters and the
\nlike, unless you’re coming
\nFor example, for some
\nspecific work thing.
\nFor example, The Four Corporation makes cars, is inviting somebody
\nto come for a meeting, having
\na letter from them is helpful.
\nBut you inviting your brother or sister or family or come
\nin, they don’t care if anything
\nthat hurts your case because
\nthey know that the person
\nwho’s asking for a Tourist Visa
\nhas a family member in the
\nUnited States and they wanted
\nto, they could stay at their house and not go back to the home country
\nand stay here because the Embassy and the Tourist Visa is only,
\nnot only but primarily focused
\non whether this foreign person
\nis going to visit the United States and they leave again.
\nAnd that’s what they are
\nfocused on they are seeing,
\n“Is this person going to actually come to the U.S. and stay?
\nOr are they going to leave?”
\nAnd if you have
\nfamily members in the U.S.,
\nit doesn’t really help.
\nSo what you really need to focus
\non is how to show this person is
\nonly coming temporarily.
\nThey’re only coming to
\nvisit and go back home,
\nThey have family back home,
\nThey have work back home,
\nThey have investments back home
\nand all this kind of stuff.
\nSo you’re not going to unlawfully stay in the United States
\nand that should be your focus,
\nnot on sending some sort of
\ninvitation letters that
\ndoes not go anywhere.
\nI’ve talked to a lot of cops or officers, they have a show called
\nthe Immigration Lawyers Podcast where I interview immigration
\nlawyers and people in the industry and I frequently consult
\nwith U.S. Embassy Officers,
\nConsular officers,
\nonce they have retired and they always say the same thing,
\nstop sending us invitation letters from family members.
\nWe don’t even want to look at that.
\nIt’s a waste of our time and it frustrates us.
\nThat’s the reality, got it from the horse’s mouth.
\nSo just know that and be prepared.
