These are the top 5 most competitive medical specialties – the hardest to get into as per the 2020 CaRMS application data \u26a1\ufe0f As a Canadian medical student, I’ve been getting a lot of questions from students who have asked me about medical residency (the training that you do after medical school but before you’re allowed to practice medicine independently). It seems like although there’s lots of amazing information about the American medical schools and residency programs, many premed and new medical students don’t even know what the Canadian licensing exams are called \ud83d\ude05 As I continue to progress through my own training as a med student, I want to do a few videos breaking down the process and different residency options in Canada. Hopefully this helps Canadian, American and International Students that might be interested in this information.<\/p>\n
