The 58-minute film considers the extraordinary, and to date somewhat hidden, pearl that is the Bay of Kotor in what is now the Republic of Montenegro. The films reveals that no less than 17 saints enriching the Catholic Church derive from this region. <\/p>\n
The story also considers the historical hardship of the Croat Catholics and how, from a height of Catholic historical and architectural glory in this region, the Church has declined suffering greatly at the hands of communism. Today a hesitant revival of faith is underway.
