{"id":40999,"date":"2022-03-27T08:44:32","date_gmt":"2022-03-27T08:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigranttravels.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/27\/tivat-montenegro-our-experience\/"},"modified":"2022-03-27T08:44:32","modified_gmt":"2022-03-27T08:44:32","slug":"tivat-montenegro-our-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigranttravels.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/27\/tivat-montenegro-our-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Tivat Montenegro (OUR experience)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Do not visit Tivat, Montenegro (our own opinion)<\/p>\n<p>We visited Tivat for a day trip from Kotor!!<br \/>\nWe arrived on the bus with high hopes, as we were recommended to come to Tivat by quite a few people.<br \/>\nUnfortunately we had a pretty bad experience that left a bad taste in our mouths. <\/p>\n<p>We love Kotor and Perast and have had an incredible week so far in Montenegro !<br \/>\nSo overall, Montenegro is 100% worth checking out if you have a few days to spare on your travels.<br \/>\nWe just feel like Tivat is rather superficial, too expensive and very focused on luxury hotels .. and too touristy.<\/p>\n<p>In Tivat you do have the Port of Montenegro and Tivat airport too which make Tivat a fantastic location to get in and out of Montenegro. <\/p>\n<p>If we had to recommend our places to choose from we would go with :<br \/>\n1. Kotor<br \/>\n2. Perast<br \/>\n3.
