{"id":38919,"date":"2022-03-09T16:41:32","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T16:41:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/immigranttravels.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/09\/uscis-premium-processing-final-rule-for-green-card-visa-ead-clears-federal-omb-review-i140-1765\/"},"modified":"2022-03-09T16:41:32","modified_gmt":"2022-03-09T16:41:32","slug":"uscis-premium-processing-final-rule-for-green-card-visa-ead-clears-federal-omb-review-i140-1765","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/immigranttravels.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/09\/uscis-premium-processing-final-rule-for-green-card-visa-ead-clears-federal-omb-review-i140-1765\/","title":{"rendered":"USCIS Premium Processing Final Rule for Green Card, Visa &amp; EAD clears Federal OMB review I140, 1765."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US Immigration.  <\/p>\n<p>Good News: USCIS Premium Processing Final Rule for Green Card, Visa &#038; EAD clears Federal review<\/p>\n<p>A U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services final rule, that would expand premium processing to include additional case types, has cleared the Office of Management and Budget, putting it closer to publication and implementation as law. <\/p>\n<p>Currently, premium processing is limited to certain Form I-129 nonimmigrant worker petitions and certain Form I-140 immigrant worker petitions, with a 15-day adjudication timeframe.<br \/>\nThe revised fee schedule and timeframes set forth by the October 2020 legislation are as follows.  <\/p>\n<p>i-140 for Most forms, including EB1, EB2 and EB3 will be processing in 15 calendar days, with a Premium Processing Fee of $2,500.<br \/>\ni-140 for EB1 Multinational Manager, EB2 National Interest Waiver, EB2 Physician will be processing in 45 calendar days, with a Premium Processing Fee of $2,500.<br \/>\nForm I-129 Nonimmigrant Worker Petitions will be processing in 15 calendar days, with a Premium Processing Fee of $2,500.<br \/>\nForm I-539 for Change or Extension of Status, to F, J or M will be processing in 30 calendar days with a Premium Processing Fee of $1,750.<br \/>\nForm I-539 for Change or Extension of Status, for visa types E, H, L, O, P and R Dependents will be processing in 30 calendar days with a Premium Processing Fee of $1,750.<br \/>\nForm I-765, Application for Employment Authorization (other wise commonly referred to as E.A.D) will be processing in 30 calendar days with a Premium Processing Fee of $1,500.  <\/p>\n<p>The regulation implements Congress\u2019s October 2020 legislation, directing U.S.C.I.S to expand premium processing service to a number of additional case types. <\/p>\n<p>Expansion of Interview Waiver Eligibility is also applied at the US consulates abroad.
