Ever since they started the Grenada Citizenship by Investment program in August 2013, it became the strongest CBI program in the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<p>There are 2 different routes that the program offers:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 National Transformation Route:<br \/>\nIt is a contribution to the country\u2019s economy that depends as mentioned before on tourism mostly; the money will be invested by the government into schools, hospitals and roads as well. Note that the contribution starts at USD 150,000 for a single applicant and USD 200,000 for a family of 4 and is non-refundable. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Real Estate Route:<br \/>\nThis is an interesting route since Grenada is the only country between the Caribbean neighbors that is located in the south, outside the hurricane belt and so has a low risk of hurricanes. This route is a bit more expensive than the National Transformation Route but only a certain amount is non-refundable. The required investment is USD 220,000 and must be kept for 5 years only.
