Several of Australia’s Pacific neighbours are among the small number of countries that remain free of coronavirus, but the pandemic has still had a catastrophic impact.<\/p>\n

Vanuatu, for one, has had its economy crippled by international travel bans, which have kept badly-needed tourists away.<\/p>\n
