Vanuatu’s ‘Citizenship by Donation’ is operated by the Development Support Program (DSP), a department of the Prime Minister’s Office, Vanuatu Government. It has been active since 2017. Approximately 750 applications for citizenship have been approved by the DSP each year (up to mid-2020).

The required donation – as published by the DSP Q4-2021:
Single person: US$130,000 / Family of four: US$200,000
The DSP accepts a range of currencies including Bitcoin.

Many international brokers exist. Agents are not permitted to quote any variation on the stated amounts and there is provision within your donation to cover their commission from the Vanuatu Government.

New World Islander (www.nwi.vu) is a new citizenship agency transparently operated by three local citizens; one niVanuatu, one New Zealander and one Englishman. NWI pledges 50% of commissions to a foundation which works to improve health and education across rural Vanuatu.
