Renting apartments in Dominican Republic can be quite different than what you are use to in your native country. The apartment renting process if you don’t understand it completely will have you thinking you are being scammed when really this how Dominican rent their properties. In tourist area you may be able to find the process a little different because of the understanding of what foreigners are accustomed to when renting.
