DOMINICA’S PRIME MINISTER ROOSEVELT SKERRIT says his government has begun to mobilize foreign assistance following the cut-off of communities and the displacement of hundreds in several villages in the east of the country.

Almost two weeks ago, a weekend of unseasonable rains washed away roads and bridges, caused over 50 landslides and killed one person.
