Salah Ghanem, a disabled refugee, who has been granted Cypriot citizenship after a long and painful struggle, speaks out about institutional discrimination against him and his family, both as a recognized refugees and as a naturalized Cypriot citizens. According to the law, recognized refugees should have equal rights to Cypriot and European citizens and naturalized citizens should be treated the same as any other citizen.
