The AelanSat internet project had setup as another option for people and government to easily have access to in rural areas.

This project was suppose to launch in 2021 but due to covid restrictions, it was officially launched this year 2022.

Willie Karie, the general manager of Interchange limited said this network is secured and will work alongside the interchange cable network to push internet bandwidth to all the islands of Vanuatu.

Caretaker minister of Finance and Telecommunication, Johnny Koanapo said he believe this project will help Vanuatu archieve its national sustainable development goal.
