Some locals wants Government to reconsider passport service to locals. They are asking Government to make sure Vanuatu passport office to provide service to locals as priority.

Deputy CIO at the OGCIO, mr. John Jack told VBTC News that the Vanuatu Immigration Office must upgrade its passport system to enable fast printing of passport. Mr. Jack added that this will stop the delay of passports.
