
Immigration Reform: Pressure to Avoid Deportation of Undocumented Immigrants & Give Them Work Permit
The National Center for Immigration Laws ( NILCI, in English ) and more than 330 labor, civil and immigrant rights organizations ask the government of the president Joe Biden avoid deportation of immigrants facing labor abuse.
The letter was sent to the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security ( DHS ), Alexander Mayorkas, in order to clarify the process for workers to assert their labor rights against abusive employers and thus access temporary protections, including blocking deportation and an Employment Authorization
