Launched in 2013, the Grenada program is the only citizenship by investment program with the option to apply for E-2 USA ‘Investor Visa’ to reside in the United States.

Applicants obtain their citizenship and passport of the country in approximately 5 months without ever having to visit the country.

Citizens of Grenada gain visa-free access to over to 144 countries, including the Schengen countries, China, United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong
A whole family can be considered under one application.

The spouse of the main applicant, their children up to 30 years of age, the parents and grandparents of the main applicant and of the spouse above 55 years old, all qualify as dependent family.

Also, unmarried siblings of the main applicant and spouse can be included under the same application. To qualify they must be above 18 years, unmarried and financially dependent on the main applicant.

Applicants qualify for citizenship through two different routes:
An investment in a Government approved real estate project
Or a non-refundable financial contribution to a Government fund
The investment in Real Estate must only be in a project which has been pre-approved by the Government and not just in any property.

The investment may include hotel shares, villas and condominium units.
The minimum real estate investment required by law is US$220,000 (resalable after 5 years)

Instead of the Real Estate investment the applicant can chose to pay a non-refundable Contribution to a Government fund with a minimum amount of USD 200,000 for up to four people plus fees.

It is important to know that the Government does not receive applications directly from applicants and all applications must be submitted through a Government Authorized Agent.
