Who Must Apply

In certain cases, the legislation on immigration in Cyprus grants the right to obtain permanent residency after a shorter period of time – of only 2 years of stay. This can apply to those who became incapacitated due to a work accident.

Foreigners can permanently relocate here through investments, and that includes investments in real estate.

Conditions for Investment
The foreigner must be able to invest EUR 300,000 in a residential property, out of which the initial deposit has to be EUR 200,000. He/she must confirm having an yearly income of EUR 30,000.

Bringing Family Members
Persons acquiring real estate of EUR 300,000 can bring their close family members (the spouse, the parents and dependent children who have an age of maximum 25 years old). They will also be entitled to residency in Cyprus.

Financial Conditions for Dependents
Under the residency by investment program, the applicant must add to the final cost of the investment EUR 5,000 for each family member or EUR 8,000 when the family member is a spouse/parent.
