The National Hurricane Center is highlighting two tropical disturbances in the Atlantic. The disturbance north of Puerto Rico could develop as it moves closer to Bermuda over the next couple of days. That system is currently bringing heavy rain and a flash flood threat to the western side of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
The second disturbance needs to be watched closely in the Caribbean and beyond. While unorganized, it is bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms to the Windward Islands, including Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada.
A tropical depression could develop in the Eastern Caribbean as the disturbance drifts to the west.
The next two names on the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season list are Lisa and Martin.
