The issue of crime was at the top of the agenda of Thursday’s press conference held by prime minister Philip J Pierre following his return to St. Lucia.
The finance minister had attended a number of important overseas engagements over the past three weeks.
The prime minister, flanked by the commissioner of police, disclosed some of the new approaches that will be undertaken to bring the disturbingly high violent crime rate under control.
