Sylvia Kim, MD, earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in New York City, and completed a fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is board certified in general and colorectal surgery. Dr. Kim’s special interests include anorectal disease, colon and rectal cancer, laparoscopic surgery and surgical correction of fecal incontinence.
