ACTING CMO SAYS ANTIGUA BARBUDA REMAINS MONKEYPOX-FREE

Antigua and Barbuda has no confirmed case of monkeypox virus.
Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Teri-Ann Joseph says there have so far been 9 suspected cases with negative tests returning for 8.
Health officials are now awaiting the result of the remaining sample from the Caribbean Public Health Agency, CARPHA.
Dr Joseph is also cautioning members of the public to seek medical advice if they have certain symptoms which are sometimes confused with chickenpox.
