Yes, this is a true story that isn’t getting enough attention. Allegedly the immigrant kids were as young as 12 – 13 years old. The story broke when one of the kids came up missing.
This sent me on a search for data on how many young undocumented illegal immigrants find themselves in unlawful labor? I then read that America hasn’t had any meaningful immigration reform in the last 40 years.
I thought, now if the America I KNOW hasn’t pushed for reform in this long there has to be a reason why, and I am sure it’s attached to MONEY.
Sure enough, immigrants legal and illegal hep the economy in ways we will go over in this episode.
