The British variant of the COVID-19 virus has been confirmed in country. Five cases to be exact of the SARS-Co-V-2 variant were confirmed by the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) on Sunday. The island meanwhile on Monday, recorded its highest number of coronavirus cases in one day. With these developments the Ministry of Health is emphasizing even more the need for citizens to adhere to the protocols established to limit spread of the virus.
