This is a quick update on the Dominica citizenship by investment program. Dominica recently changed the definition of dependent.
Adult children between the age of 18 and 30 in addition to be financially supportive of the main applicant must be enrolled in a recognized institution of higher learning with a possible exemption for unmarried daughters below the age of 25.
Parents and grandparents must be above the age of 65 and financially dependent on the main applicant
Termination of the possibility to include siblings in an application for citizenship
Additionally there have been changes in fees:
All fees for siblings have been removed as they are no longer accepting siblings
US$25,000 per additional dependent beyond the 6th family member
For families greater than 4 persons there is a fee of US$25,000 for dependents below 18 and US$50,000 for those above 18.
Dominica ranked #1 citizenship by investment program in 2022 along with Saint Kitts & Nevis citizenship by investment program. Dominica is often a great choice for single applicants who do not intend to get married or have children.
