India saw the 2nd highest wealth outflow in 2019, as per the Global Wealth Migration Review 2020 by New World Wealth.

We had the highest number of High net-worth individuals from India inquire for residence or citizenship in 2020, a phenomenal 45% increase over previous years.

2% of India’s millionaires had already flocked overseas in 2020.

India may see the exodus of 8,000 high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) in 2022, at least 14% more than three years ago, indicating the accelerating pace of emigration by millionaires as per the global citizenship report by Henley and Partners.

The silver lining is that India produces far more new millionaires than it loses to emigration each year, it added.

Millionaires are on the move again, with 2023 forecast to be a record breaker. The top four nationalities currently driving demand are Russians, Indians, Americans, and Brits.
