In response to a reported rise in fraudulent COVID-19 vaccine certificates, the Health Ministry plans to use technology to strengthen the verification process. Saint Lucia’s fully vaccinated population will soon be eligible to apply online for an exclusive electronic COVID-19 passport. Authorities are also finalizing plans to introduce a special “events card” exclusively made for the fully vaccinated. Only “events card” holders will be granted access to approved events.
