NEW DEAD LINE FOR USCIS RESPONSE 2022
In response to the coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service is extending the flexibility announced on March 30, 2020 to assist applicants, applicants, and certain responding applicants:
• Requests for Evidence;
• Continuations to Request Evidence (N-14);
• Notices of Intent to Deny;
• Notices of Intent to Revoke;
• Notices of Intent to Rescind;
• Notices of Intent to Terminate regional centers; and
• Motions to Reopen an N-400 Pursuant to 8 CFR 335.5, Receipt of Derogatory Information After Grant.
In addition, USCIS will consider form I290B, notice of appeal or motion, or form N336, requests to hear a decision in the naturalization process (under section 336 of the INA), if: Form
has been filed up to 60 calendar days from the issue decision we have made; and
We make this decision any time between March 1, 2020 and January 15, 2022.
This flexibility applies to the above documents if the issuance date indicated in the request, notification or decision is between 1 March 2020 and 15 January 2022 inclusive.
