When are applicants permitted to Role Swapping?
Role swapping is only allowed for two streams of the Business Permanent Visa – Subclass 888. They are:
Investor stream and Business Innovation stream
Let’s now find out how does Role Swapping work?
Role swapping takes place when two candidates, who are the primary, and the secondary applicant (generally the primary applicant’s spouse), who are authorised for a Subclass 188 Business Provisional Visa desire to transform their applicant status. The secondary applicant, as the spouse, intends to become the principal applicant when applying for the Subclass 888 Business Permanent Visa. Consecutively, the original primary applicant for the 188 visa then transforms into the secondary applicant for the 888 visa.
