Hey everyone, our eldest son, Josiah hosts a podcast where he interviews creatives and travelers. He’s also here with us in Rwanda and he interviewed Mark, his dad on his show. Check it out!

Today we’re reliving his memories of traveling abroad with his childhood friends, vacations with my mom, bonding trips with my brothers and I, and how he’s adjusting to living in Rwanda today. Along the way he shares stories from his life in the Midwest, working at IBM, writing a book with me, and launching a podcast with my mom. He’s lived a storied life and I was happy to have him on. This interview is one ‘origin’ story (there are two perspectives, mother & father) going back many years which shows how my parents were unknowingly prepared to eventually move overseas. Enjoy!’
