On Friday, February 18, the Center for the Study of Europe hosted a lecture by Olena Lennon, Adjunct Professor of Political Science and National Security at the University of New Haven for a lecture on the Russia Ukraine conflict. In her remarks Lennon explored a number of questions, namely, why Russia has amassed troops around Ukraine, why the treat of invasion looms, and whether there are other ways for Russia to achieve its objectives. She explains why these events are happening now and speculates how matters will resolve. The conversation was moderated by Vesko Garčević, Professor of the Practice of International Relations at the Pardee School.
