As teaching artists for CCCADI (Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute) Capoeira Muçurumim teachs children self-knowledge and empowerment through the cultural arts of the African diaspora. In 2015, Luz did a four month artist residency at the Jackie Robinson School in Brooklyn. Children learned music, movement and the history of Capoeira Angola.
