We really didn’t know what to expect here, but were pleasantly surprised. We had a beautiful, clear day, and they spoke English! We forget how nice it is to not have to struggle with local languages, although many workers in tourist areas speak some English, we still feel we have to try speaking theirs.
Even though Gibraltar isn’t big, there is a cute downtown which was decorated with British flags for the 70th Jubilee. We took the cable car up to the top, and also walked through the botanical garden. We hope you enjoy!
