The Vanuatu Immigration services said there are many issues on foreigners who come to Vanuatu to buy land and then move out again overseas.

Director of Immigration mr. Jeffery Markson said it is not right or possible for someone to travel to another country as a visitor and bought a land and for a short time you travel out of the country to live in another country while the purchased land stay there for nearly up 10 years.

For this reason, this new ‘Lease visa’ will be regulated and will be ordered by national government to be used.
