Immigration Attorney, Mari Ribeiro argues the main differences between the E2 and EB5 visas that are intended for investors.
The E2 is a temporary visa that does not entitle you to permanent residency. Ms. Ribeiro also explains that this visa is not available to everyone and that there is also no minimum amount for investment.
The EB5, on the other hand, leads to permanent residency, but has a minimum amount to invest and requires the creation of ten jobs in the US for one year.
