The Government of St Kitts and Nevis has announced a 24-hour lockdown as part of a slate of additional restrictive measures being taken to limit the movement of people in an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19.

In an address to the nation, Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris said these additional measures have become necessary as “the reduction envisaged over the 14-day incubation period was not realized.”
