Amidst the nerves over Brexit, and the echoes of the sovereignty debate over Gibraltar, some on the Rock are turning to a different part of their heritage. According to the Honorary Maltese Consul in Gibraltar, there’s been an increase in people requesting Maltese passports.

Franco Cassar told Jonathan Scott although there hadn’t been a huge rise in requests, it was nonetheless noticeable.
