Dr. Martin is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and performed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the George Washington University. He is Board Certified with additional certification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as an Active Member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. As a member of Orthopaedics Overseas, he served at St Georges Hospital in St Lucia. He is an OSM team physician to Sacred Heart University as well as St Joseph’s, Masuk, Shelton and Trumbull High Schools. Dr. Martin’s surgical interests include Reconstructive Shoulder Surgery, Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, Trauma and Fracture care. He is a full time staff member at St Vincent’s Hospital but also has courtesy privileges at Bridgeport and Griffin Hospitals.
