About the residency:
Over the course of the 10-day residency, the resident printmakers have been asked to respond to text pieces from de Beauvoir’s Second Sex book and to then produce 2 separate pieces of work in an edition of 15 each. Two artists born in or resident in Ireland have been selected to join 8 other international printmakers in Limerick, Ireland for the duration of the residency. Participants in this programme received travel, accommodation, stipend, materials, studio equipment & facilities usage and technical and administrative support.
