PADA Studios Artists-in-residence Serra Behar.

Serra Behar (b.1977) is a multidisciplinary Turkish artist living and working in Barreiro, Portugal. She works in the field of sculpture and installation.

Behar’s practice is predominantly based on conceptuality and material, describing artists as individuals who “embody stories” she communicates with the viewer the concretized output of her interest in esoteric matters. Across her practice she uses the techniques of animation to energize materials such as leather, radiogram, bone, polyester, electronic cables and antique furniture.

PADA is an Art Residency & Gallery based in a post-industrial site near Lisbon, Portugal.
