Samantha is the Marketing Executive for the Caribbean region at the Discover Dominica Authority. Samantha has over 20 years’ experience in the tourism industry in the areas of product development, licensing and certification, training, marketing, and public relations. She has implemented various successful marketing campaigns for the destination and for Dominica’s major national events. Her expertise extends to development of culture in Dominica as she works with various organizations in the promotion and preservation of Dominica’s rich and vibrant culture.
Hannah Gaventa:
Hannah has 10 years of experience working with international NGOs in emergency contexts, specialising in post disaster resiliency and climate adaptation. Hannah brings a wealth of experience in building robust partnerships, incorporating adaptive strategies and developing the capacity of communities impacted by disasters. Currently, Hannah works for Palladium on the UK Government Skills for Prosperity Programme has spent the past 3 years as a country director for an international humanitarian agency in Latin America and the Eastern Caribbean region. Hannah is an adaptive leadership practitioner, with additional skills in facilitation, team building and project strategic visioning.
