The EB-5 visa is a method for Immigrant Investors to become lawful residents by investing substantial capital to finance a business in the US that will employ at least 10 workers.
The EB-5 program is one of the fastest ways to get a Green Card at this moment. Your investment can be passive or active. If you choose the passive one, then you give your money to some project which is licensed by the United States Government and they will take care of everything for you.
On the other hand, you can choose the active investment. This way you will have to do your own business and you will have to take care of everything by yourself. Also, you will need to create at least 10 jobs within 2 years.
*Passive investments require an investment of $800 000
*Active investments require an investment of $1 050 000
