Official on Syrian passport in Paris attack

(15 Nov 2015) The Greek Alternate Migration Policy Minister, Yannis Mouzalas, told journalists that the holder of a Syrian passport found next to the body of one of the Paris attackers entered Greece on the 3 October.
Mouzalas showed the news conference images of the registration papers and finger prints of the Syrian passport holder, Ahmad Almohammad, and a map of the possible itinerary he took through Greece and the Balkans before reaching France.
The man was registered according to EU regulations but it is unclear how he made it to France.
Mouzalas underlined that although Friday night’s events in Paris were ‘unbelievable’, people should not succumb to fear as that would make the attack successful.
