Machine (un)learning is an interactive dance project that invites the audience to manipulate the performer, thus creating a connection from afar. The choreography develops with each
spectator, who can manipulate the dancer like a human machine. Facilitating a dialogue
between the two and eliminating the traditional passivity of the audience.

About the artists:

KOOPERATIVO MIZANTROPOJ is a multidisciplinar project revolving around Luca Scarpati and Zinnia Nomura.
In 2020 they met in Patras during an artistic residency with Sea Clown Sailing Circus. After the project they kept staying in Greece and started a productive collaboration giving birth to a series of new cultural projects. They are currently based between South Italy and Berlin.

• Zinnia Nomura was born in Los Angeles and moved to Germany in 2011, where she worked as a dancer and performer for the Krefeld-Mönchengladbach Theater, for the Musikalische Komödie of Opera Leipzig and other productions.

• Luca Scarpati was born in Napoli. He worked as a lighting designer, photographer, performer, video-maker and teacher with MotoMimetico, Contestualmente Teatro, Morks, Istituto Paolo Colosimo, InCanti di Sirene and further projects.
