G-CREWS Project Head speaks on building Resilience within Grenada's Water Sector

The Climate-Resilient Water Sector in Grenada (G-CREWS) project is designed to increase climate change resilience in Grenada’s water sector. The project aims to achieve this by addressing resilience at the level of water governance, households, businesses and the water supply system.
An interview with Dr. Hans-Werner Theisen, Head of Project was conducted at the initial stage of the project to discuss the components, expectations and goals of the project. In an interview, Dr. Theisen stated that “there is not enough storage for water supply, and the goal is to strengthen two of the reservoirs to store more water, and to construct more than nine or ten tanks in Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinque, to ensure that there is enough water for the people in the event of a hurricane or drought.”
